TYPE SPECIES: Dysopes temminckii Burmeister, 1854.

SYNONYMS: Cabreramops, Cynomops, Neoplatymops.

COMMENTS: Includes Cabreramops, Cynomops, and Neoplatymops as subgenera; see Jones et al. (1977:28) and Freeman (1981:133) respectively.
