Pipistrellus aegyptius

Description

Pipistrellus aegyptius (Fischer, 1829). Synopsis Mammalium, p. 105.

TYPE LOCALITY: Egypt, Luxor.

DISTRIBUTION: Egypt, N Sudan, Lybia, Algeria, Burkina Fasso.

SYNONYMS: deserti.

COMMENTS: Subgenus Pipistrellus. For use of this name in place of deserti see Qumsiyeh (1985).
