Micropteropus Matschie, 1899. Megachiroptera Berlin Mus., p. 36, 57.

TYPE SPECIES: Epomophorus pusillus Peters, 1867.

COMMENTS: Revised by Bergmans (1989), who transferred grandis from this genus to Epomophorus.
