Prosciurillus Ellerman, 1947. Proc. Zool. Soc. Lond., 117:259.
TYPE SPECIES: Sciurus murinus Müller and Schlegel, 1844.
COMMENTS: Tribe Callosciurini; closely related to Sundasciurus (see Heaney, 1985). Reviewed by Moore (1958), who transferred leucomus from Callosciurus to this genus.
