Delanymys brooksi Hayman, 1962. Rev. Zool. Bot. Afr., 65:1 -2.
TYPE LOCALITY: SW Uganda, Kigezi, near Kanaba, Echuya (or Muchuya) Swamp, 7500 ft (see Hayman, 1962).
DISTRIBUTION: SW Uganda, Zaire (Kivu), and Rwanda (Volcanos and Nyungwe forest).
COMMENTS: Available information on morphology, geographic distribution, and ecology can be found in Hayman (1962, 1963a), Verheyen (1965b), Dieterlen (1969b), and Van der Straeten and Verheyen (1983).
