Dacnomys Thomas, 1916. J. Bombay Nat. Hist. Soc., 24(3):404.

TYPE SPECIES: Dacnomys miliardi Thomas, 1916.

COMMENTS: Reviewed by Musser (1981 b). Closest phylogenetic alliance may be with Niviventer, particularly with members of the N. andersoni Division of that genus (Musser, 1981b).
