TYPE LOCALITY: Mozambique, Zambezi River, Tete.
DISTRIBUTION: South Africa (Natal, Zululand, Transvaal), Swaziland, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, N Botswana, NE and N Namibia, N Malawi, Zambia, Angola, Zaire, SW Sudan and west to Cameroon.
SYNONYMS: bocagei, edulis, gazellae, kasaicus, maunensis, natalensis, nyasae, opimus.
