TYPE LOCALITY: Papua New Guinea, Milne Bay Prov., Goodenough Island, eastern slopes, near "Top Camp", about 1600 m.
DISTRIBUTION: Goodenough Isl (Papua New Guinea).
STATUS: IUCN - Rare; very rare, localized, probably endangered.
