Type locality: China, Hongkong
Distribution. Indian records: Simla (Hampson 1896b), Darjiling, Khasis (Caradja 1925), North India (Rose & Dhillon 1980c), Kerala (Mathew & Menon 1984), Himachal Pradesh, Uttrakhand (Chandra et al. 2019). Global records: China, Muree, Ceylon (Hampson 1896b), Vietnam (Tonkin) (de Joannis 1930), Cambodia (Qi & Bae 2015), China: Hainan (Liu & Li 2020), Myanmar, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan (Chandra et al. 2019).
