Data and code for ''Tool for automatic macrozone characterization from EBSD datasets of titanium alloys'' published in the Journal of Applied Crystallography.

The Zipped folder contains:
1.Readme (text file).
2.DATASETS folder containing:
- 'BILLET' data subfolder: contains datasets of Ti64 and Ti834 billet forgings with fully equiaxed microstructure (Billet 1, Billet 2 and Billet 3).
- 'PANCAKE' data subfolder: contains datasets of Ti834 pancake forgings with bimodal microstructure (Pancake 1 and Pancake 2).
3.CODE folder containing MatLab Scripts:
- 'IMPORT' subfolder: contains the import source code to load .ctf data from EBSD.
- 'MAIN' subfolder: contains the Macrozone Tool UoS source code for macrozone analysis.
- 'EXTRA PLOTS' subfolder: contains Pole Figures and contour plots source code for optional data post processing.
- 'Stored Functions' subfolder: contains all functions required to run the previous source codes.
4.EXAMPLE folder containing outputs from Billet 3 dataset:
- Outputs IMPORT subfolder: result from the Import_CTF.m script to load the data as a .mat file.
- Outputs MAIN subfolder: results from the UoS_Macrozone_Tool from the ‘Billet 3’ dataset including the output image and files.
- Outputs EXTRA PLOT subfolder: results from colourmap, pole figure and disorientation contour analysis.
A Matlab License is required to run the code.
