Pompilus spissus Schiødte, 1837: 336, ♀ ♂. Type locality: „ Denmark “.
Material examined. (10) 11♂, 29, 30. VI.2014, AL, MP, VL; (11) 4♂, 1.VII.2014, AL, MP, VL; (12) 7♂, 28, 29. VI.2014, AL, MP, VL; (15) 1♂, 7.VII.2014, AL, MP, VL; (18) 4♂, 22–30. VI.2014, YuD [EATB].
Distribution. Russia: European part (North-West, Centre, South, North Caucasus), Western Siberia (Altai Terr., Altai Rep.), Eastern Siberia (* Khakassia, Irkutsk Prov., Yakutsk Rep., Zabaikalskii Terr.), Far East (Sakhalin, Magadan Prov.); Europe (Western, Northern, Southern, Eastern), Turkey, Near East, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Mongolia, China (Ningxia).
Remarks. This species is newly recorded from Khakassia.
