TYPE LOCALITY: Indonesia, N. Sulawesi, Minahassa, Mt. Masarang.
DISTRIBUTION: N. and Middle Sulawesi.
COMMENT: Includes facetus and tondanus; see Musser, 1973, Am. Mus. Novit., 2511:24. Sody, 1941, included marmosurus in Taeromys; but see comment under Taeromys.
ISIS NUMBER: 5301410011058068001 as R. marmosurus.
