Praomys daltoni
Description
Praomys daltoni (Thomas, 1892). Ann. Mag. Nat. Hist., ser. 6, 10: 181.
TYPE LOCALITY: West Africa (probably Gambia).
DISTRIBUTION: Senegal to Cameroun.
COMMENT: Subgenus Myomyscus; see Misonne, 1974, Part 6:27. Includes Myomys ingoldbyi; see Van der Straeten and Verheyen, 1978, Z. Saugetierk., 45:31-41, who placed daltoni in subgenus Myomys. May include butleri (EVS).
ISIS NUMBER: 5301410011058030001 as Rattus daltoni.
