Description
Colobus badius (Kerr, 1792). Anim. Kingdom, p. 74.
TYPE LOCALITY: Sierra Leone.
DISTRIBUTION: Senegal to Ghana.
COMMENT: Subgenus Piliocolobus; includes waldroni and temmincki; see Dandelot, 1974, Part 3:33; but also see Rahm, 1970:589-626.
PROTECTED STATUS: CITES - Appendix II as Order Primates.
