Description

Cercopithecus dryas Schwartz, 1932. Rev. Zool. Bot. Afr., 21:251.

TYPE LOCALITY: Zaire, Ikela zone, Yapatsi.

DISTRIBUTION: Known only from the type locality.

COMMENT: Not a subspecies of diana; related to aethiops; see Thys van den Audenaerde, 1977, Rev. Zool. Afr., 91: 1007, who also discussed the type locality (p. 1006).

PROTECTED STATUS: CITES - Appendix II as Order Primates.
