Description
Mops brachypterus (Peters, 1852). Reise nach Mossambique, Saugethiere, p. 59.
TYPE LOCALITY: Mozambique, Mozambique Isl. (15° S. and 40° 42' E.).
DISTRIBUTION: Uganda; Kenya; Tanzania; Mozambique; Zanzibar.
COMMENT: May be conspecific with (and an older name than) leonis or thersites (KFK).
