Description
Myotis velifer (J. A. Allen, 1890). Bull. Am. Mus. Nat. Hist., 3:177.
TYPE LOCALITY: Mexico, Jalisco, Guadalajara, Santa Cruz del Valle.
DISTRIBUTION: Honduras to S.C. Kansas, C. Utah and S.E. California (U.S.A.).
COMMENT: See Hayward, 1970, WRISCI (W. New Mexico Univ.), 1 (1):4—5, for scope of this species. Reviewed by Fitch et al., 1981, Mamm. Species, 149:1-5.
