TYPE LOCALITY: India, Ladak, Shushul, 13,500 ft. (4115 m).
DISTRIBUTION: Kashmir and Ladak (N. India).
COMMENT: Formerly included tibetanus which was transferred to kamensis; see Wang and Cheng, 1973, Acta Zool. Sin., 19:61-68, and Corbet, 1978:91.
