TYPE LOCALITY: U.S.A., Pennsylvania.
DISTRIBUTION: Georgia and N. W. South Carolina (U.S.A.) to Nova Scotia and Labrador (Canada); Great Lakes region to S. E. Manitoba.
COMMENT: Reviewed by Peterson and Yates, 1980, Mamm. Species, 129:1-4.
