Paraechinus micropus

Description

Paraechinus micropus (Blyth, 1846). J. Asiat. Soc. Bengal, 15: 170.

TYPE LOCALITY: Pakistan, Bhawalpur.

DISTRIBUTION: Pakistan and N. W. India; S. India.

COMMENT: Includes nudiventris and intermedins; see Corbet, 1978:16- 17. Gureev, 1979:176, listed this as a subspecies of aethiopicus without comment.
