Description

Isoodon auratus (Ramsay, 1887). Proc. Linn. Soc. N.S.W., ser. 2, 2:551.

TYPE LOCALITY: Australia, Western Australia, Derby.

DISTRIBUTION: N. and E. Western Australia; Barrow Island; Northern Territory; inland South Australia.

COMMENT: Includes barrowensis; see Ride, 1970:96.
