Description

Sminthopsis murina (Waterhouse, 1838). Proc. Zool. Soc. Lond., 1837:76.

TYPE LOCALITY: Australia, New South Wales, N. of Hunter's River.

DISTRIBUTION: S.W. Western Australia; S.E. South Australia; Victoria; New South Wales; E. Queensland.

COMMENT: Includes albipes, fuliginosa, and tatei; see Archer, 1979, Aust. Zool., 20(2): 329; 1981:94-99.
