DISTRIBUTION: Hidalgo (Mexico) to S.C. Washington (U.S.A.), S. E. Alberta, and S.W. Saskatchewan (Canada).
COMMENT: Includes pallas; see Anderson, 1972, Bull. Am. Mus. Nat. Hist., 148(2): 317. Does not include compactas; see Schmidly and Hendricks, 1976, Bull. South. Calif. Acad. Sci., 75:225; also see comment under compactas.
