Detailed views of a dried adult male Myrmarachne exasperans (not living). 2-3, Dorsal view of chelicerae with fangs retracted (2) and extended (3). 4-6, Ventral views of chelicerae in different positions. Note the posterior (ventral) position of the fang groove (6, arrow), lined with short spines along the rear margin. 7, Prolateral or anterior view of right leg I showing six long spines of each tibia and two long spines of each metatarsus. These spines are very thin and sharp. 8, Detail of distal tarsus and pretarsus from (7), showing closely spaced teeth of the anterior claw.
