METHODOLOGY OF USING SDSS DATABASE IN DEVELOPING STUDENTS' SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH ABILITY

The article examines the methods of using the data of the modern astronomical database SDSS (Sloan Digital Sky Survey) in the independent study of the science of astronomy and strengthening the knowledge gained during the lessons. In this case, the students analyzed the images of galaxy clusters taken from the database and considered the change of the apparent surface density as an example.
