Diagnosis. This new species is similar to M. diana, but the new species has the aedeagal shaft compressed, without basal processes, the preatrium much shorter than the shaft, and the style with apex foot-like. M. diana has the aedeagal shaft tubular, with a pair of slim basal processes, the preatrium longer than the shaft, and the style apex with a second extension.
Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the Latin word “acrodontus”, referring to the apical tooth-like processes of the aedeagal shaft.
