Description
The 1st instar larva of Dilar montanus Yang was mounted between two cover slips with double-sided tape spacers in a drop of methyl-salicylate and scanned from both sides with an argon laser emitting light of 488 – 579 nm wave length using a Zeiss LSM 880. The obtained datasets were stitched together using the “align manually with landmarks” tool of the TrackEM plugin for ImageJ and exported as a .tiff images stack. The voxel size for the dataset is 1.489 µm x 1.489 µm x 8.277 µm.
