Better constrained climate sensitivity when accounting for dataset dependency on pattern effect estimates

  • 1. Department of Meteorology, Stockholm University, Stockholm, Sweden

Description

Data for producing the figures in "Better constrained climate sensitivity when accounting for dataset dependency on pattern effect estimates" by A. Modak and T. Mauritsen, submitted to Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics in September 2022. The "annual_means_2D" contains annual means of variables from 1871-2017 in netcdf format. These files are used for drawing Figure 2, Figure 3, Figure 5 and Figure 6. The "global_annual_means" contains the global annual means of variables from 1871-2017. These data are used to produce Figure 1, Figure 4, Figure 7 and Figure 8. The radiative forcing file from IPCC AR6 "ERF_AR6_FOD_data_v1.txt" is also uploaded which is used to draw Figure 8. The land mask file in the MPI-ESM1.2-LR model resolution is used to produce Figure 2, Figure 3, Figure 5 and Figure 6.
