H2020 773782- COASTAL MAL03 Flipbook - Norrström, Baltic Sea: Workflow, issues and future needs

This publication brings together the workflow of the COASTAL project translating thoughts, issues and future needs for the development of the Baltic coastal region, with particular focus on the Norrström catchment and surrounding coastal areas. This flipbook presents a synthesis of a novel approach developed to involve co-creation processes in all phases of the project, quantify key system interactions by system dynamics modelling and assess management road map performance in different future scenarios. The recommendations presented here reflect on time frames of sustainability required to reach the nutrient load reduction targets of the Baltic Sea Action plan and include examples of synergistic strategies to reach those reduction targets.
