Description
syllables is a repository containing two Perl scripts:
syllables
- divides words into syllables and adds hyphenation. It was created to speed up the process of text underlying in music scores. The script provides two forms of output: text (default, it can be copied and pasted to Finale or MuseScore) or Humdrum**text
spines (option-h
,--humdrum
). Version 0.1.x of the software supports Polish (-p
,--polish
) and Latin (-l
,--latin
).assign-syllables
- underlay multiple verses of lyrics in the Humdrum file according to the pattern encoded in the original file.
v0.1.1 has CITATION.cff file added.
