PLANT GENETICS, BREEDING AND PROTECTION are important fields of research for improvement of yield and quality of plant production. The achievements of plant breeding have a tremendous implications on economic national development. However, agricultural field is facing major political, sociological and environmental challenges. This conference address the latest advances in various plant genetics, breeding and protection activities as followes: breeding strategies and methodologies, phenotyping technologies, analysis and use of genetic diversity, the genetic analysis of major traits in both, controlled and field environments, the analysis of gene structure and function, plant protection etc.
