FinnPRIO-Explorer - A tool for examining assessments made with the FinnPRIO model.

This is the source code for the web application ‘FinnPRIO-Explorer’ that is available at https://finnprio-explorer.2.rahtiapp.fi/

FinnPRIO-Explorer facilitates examination of assessments made with the FinnPRIO model - a model for ranking non-native plant pests based on the risk that they pose to plant health (Heikkila et al., 2016).

The FinnPRIO-Explorer application was developed in the Risk Assessment Unit of the Finnish Food Authority, and it contains all the FinnPRIO assessments made for Finland (this source code upload contains assessments made until August 2022). The assessments have been made using the FinnPRIO graphical user interface (Marinova-Todorova et al., 2019).

To run the source code locally in your computer you need to:

1. Install R from https://www.r-project.org/.
2. Save the files ‘app.R’ and ‘functions.R’ in your working directory.
3. Create a folder into your working directory called ‘data’, and save the files ‘cleanfinnprioresults.csv”, ‘hv.csv” and ‘pestquestions_est3.csv’ there.
4. Install R packages ‘shiny’, ‘shinythemes’, ‘shinyhelper’, ‘shinycssloaders’, ‘tidyverse’, ‘gghighlight’, ‘treemapify’, ‘data.table’,‘DT’, ‘dplyr’ and ‘ggplot2’.
5. Run the command runApp() in R.
