Description
MAGMA_PT includes two examples codes that quantifying thermal stresses around cooling magmatic intrusions. These are thermo-mechanical codes, written in Julia, using a pseudo transient solver that can run on GPUs. A fully compressible, visco-elasto-plastic rheology with tensile and shear failure is used, including thermal expansion in thermodynamically consistent manner.
