Claire: a system for detecting protein variants from tandem mass spectra of proteome independently of DNA/RNA sequencing

Description

Claire is a probabilistic cross-platform python system that analyses shotgun proteomics data using deep peptide databases. The deep databases can be rather large, e.g., our human peptide database has around 0.4 TB when optimized for detection.

In the current version, claire allows detecting human variant peptides originating from single nucleotide variants, independently of DNA/RNA sequencing data.

For the installation of Claire, please read the HTML documentation in the documentation.zip archive (the root of the documentation is  the file index.html).
