Creators
Description
On the subject of the study, 91 patients were examined, including 37 patients with COPD and IHD, 29 patients with isolated COPD, 23 patients with isolated IHD and 3 patients in the control group. As a result of the study, it was found that in patients with COPD, both with concomitant IHD and without IHD, moderate cognitive impairment and a mild degree of anxiety are determined. In COPD patients with concomitant IHD, with an increase in the severity of COPD manifestations, an increase in cognitive impairment was found without an increase in anxiety. It has been established that patients with COPD and of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) with frequent exacerbations of COPD have more severe dyspnea and poorer exercise tolerance, lower respiratory function and worse survival according to the BODE index compared with patients with infrequent exacerbations of COPD.
