Radio blazars are neutrino sources: growing evidence from recent IceCube events
Description
In 2020, we demonstrated significant evidence for bright radio blazars being a dominant source of high-energy astrophysical neutrinos seen by IceCube. Later years have brought more neutrino detections, which further increase the confidence of the neutrino-blazars association. A notable example is the recent IceCube alert on 2022-02-05 that came from the direction of the PKS 1741-03 blazar. This blazar is radio bright, and one of the four objects we published as most probable neutrino sources back in 2020. In this poster, we report on the statistical analysis of IceCube neutrino alerts since 2020, and highlight individual detections that are the most prominent radio blazar associations.
