The Public Library for the Performing Arts of New York has rare archival collections in the field of Greek Theater, which concerns the ancient theater and its reception, the dramaturgy of the Greek Diaspora in the USA, the theatrical practice of Greek immigrants, and the course of the transatlantic theatrical tours. In addition to books, there is the huge no-book collection, which includes manuscripts, programs, scores, rare recordings, clippings, indexed reviews, posters, photos, and more. The most important items are presented, giving priority to those that are not digitized.
