Description

This dataset contains a shapefile with grounding line positions of Petermann Glacier between 1992 and 2021. Grounding lines were calculated using satellite radar interferometry. We also provide a netcdf file with surface flow velocity data between 1980 and present, obtained using optical and radar remote sensing.

This dataset supplement the manuscript "Ongoing grounding line retreat and fracturation initiated at the Petermann Glacier ice shelf, Greenland after 2016" by Romain Millan, Jeremie Mouginot, Anna Derkacheva, Eric Rignot, Pietro Milillo, Enrico Ciraci, Luigi Dini and Anders Bjørk under revision in The Cryosphere.
