The scattered x-ray spectrum of AGN: testing physical scenarios for the reflection features
Description
We study a sample of 22 type-1 AGN, for which it is expected that all scatter media can contribute simultaneously. We use simultaneous observations from XMM-Newton and NuSTAR, covering a spectral range from 3 keV up to 60 keV. We test two different physical scenarios for the reflection: neutral and ionized media. We find that several reflectors are needed to explain at least 50% of the sample, with clear signatures of disc reflector that might help to give light to fundamental parameters of the SMBH or the disc itself.
