Elytra flattened, elongate, ca. 3.6 times as long as wide at humeri, parallel-sided; interstices 1-3 with even double rows of small roundish cells (Figs 1A–F).

Tarsomere length ratio (of tarsomeres 1–4) 5.3: 2.3: 1.9: 1 (Figs 1A, F).

Length (from anterior head margin to end of elytra) 5.7 mm; width at humeri 1.9 mm, pronotal width at base 1.8 mm, pronotal length at midline 0.92 mm.

Syninclusions. None.

Etymology. Damzenium rivnense sp. nov. is named after the region where the amber specimen was discovered (‘Rivne’, the Ukrainian for ‘Rovno’).

Diagnosis. The new species is a single species in the genus and may be distinguished from other erotines, including those known from amber, by the generic characters.
