This dataset supports the research study 'Modelling the Frequency-Dependent Effective Excess Charge Density in Partially Saturated Porous Media' by S. G. Solazzi, L. D Thanh, K. Hu, and D. Jougnot.
We provide with a commented MATLAB code (Freq_Sat_SP.m) for estimating the frequency-dependent (i) effective excess charge density, (ii) the electrokinetic coupling coefficient, and (iii) the effective dynamic permeability for partially saturated porous media. The code allows to consider fractal, lognormal, and double lognormal pore size distributions.
