METHODS OF FORMATION OF SUBJECT COMPETENCIES USING CRITICAL THINKING TECHNOLOGY IN TEACHING SCHOOL GEOGRAPHY

Description

One of the most important tasks of general secondary geographical education is the formation of students' skills and subject competencies based on the development of critical thinking skills. Basically, this happens in the process of studying the system of knowledge and skills, mastering the educational goals of the geography of the school, in which the content of education has been updated. In accordance with the requirements of the state program for the development of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2020-2025, the state mandatory standard of general secondary education, approved by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated August 23, 2012 No. 1080, one of the basic requirements for the content of education is the achievement by graduates of special subject competencies and the necessary level of functional literacy in modern society. In accordance with the updated standard curriculum of the content of competence-based education, students should learn to independently set goals and determine ways to achieve them, use the experience gained at school in real life, outside the framework of the educational process.
