LINGUISTIC ANALYSIS OF CONCEPT "FRIENDSHIP"

This paper analyses the linguistic characterizations of the notion of “friendship”, focusing in particular on some English-Uzbek cultural encounters. In this paper we revisit the question whether these conceptualizations are individual or culture-specific and attempt to answer this question through the linguistic analysis of the concept “friendship”, and its Uzbek dictionary and translation equivalents
