• Medium-sized sirenian with pectoral flippers lacking nails, no external hindlimbs, and a whale-like tail fluke with a median notch.

• 200-330 cm.

• Subtropical and tropical Indo-West Pacific waters.

Coastal and island waters with seagrass meadows
