Description
Self-compacting concrete (SCC) is a widely used composite owing to its ability of flowing without compaction, saving time and costs during concreting. In this study, powdered superplasticizer and marble and granite beneficiation residue (MGBR) were used as fines. Four mixtures were produced with different percentages of MGBR and their properties in the fresh state were assessed using the slump flow, J ring, L box, V funnel, and segregation column tests, defined by the Brazilian standard ABNT NBR 15823 (2017). All mixtures showed behaviors within the limits established by this standard for an structural concrete.
