Mastering speech etiquette as an effective optimization direction of learning foreign language

Description
This article discusses the problems of optimizing learning foreign language. In particular, it gives the examples of mastering speech etiquette while learning the topic «Modal verbs: can (could), may (might), must, ought, shall (should), will (would)». The authors demonstrate the value of modal verbs in culture and their relationship to society, and also describe peculiarities of learning such categories as «mental space of a speaker» and «distance of speech communication» in the context of comparing Russian and English language world pictures.
