Sobre o "Roessler" e o "Kaa-Eté": Dois Movimentos Ambientais Escolares

RESUMO: O artigo aborda as condições históricas do surgimento e desenvolvimento de dois movimentos ambientais escolares, um na cidade de Novo Hamburgo e outro em Porto Alegre e as visões sobre o ambiente “materializadas” nas práticas de tais movimentos. As autoras e o autor desenvolvem o estudo a partir da perspectiva da “epistemologia social histórica” postulada por Popkewitz (1995, 1997), que implica escapar das interpretações unilaterais, lineares, progressivas, bem como deixa de atribuir a mudança unicamente aos motivos ou convicções de personagens históricos. Nesta direção, o estudo busca evidenciar as rupturas e as descontinuidades na história desses movimentos articulada as outras tramas sociais. Busca examinar nas “histórias orais”, como as práticas sociais e as subjetividades são construídas na estruturação da vida social.

ON “ROESSLER” AND “KAA-ETÉ”: TWO SCHOOL ENVIRONMENTAL MOVEMENTS

Abstract: This article analyses the emergence and development of two school environmental movements in two different cities, Porto Alegre and Novo Hamburgo, and the perception of environment as it is “materialized” in the practices of those movements. In this study, the authors have adopted the perspective of the “historical social epistemology” put forward by Popkewitz (1995, 1997). This perspective not only avoids unilateral, linear, progressive interpretations, but also refuses to attribute changing only to the reasons or convictions of historical characters. In accordance with this kind of approach, this study tries to demonstrate the ruptures and discontinuities in the history of those movements connected with other social webs. It also seeks to analyse, through oral accounts, how social practices and subjectivities are built in the structure of social life.
