SIGNIFICANCE AND BIOECOLOGICAL STUDY OF PASTURE MITES IN THE DRY STEPPE OF THE WEST KAZAKHSTAN REGION

Description

In recent years, there has been an increase in the number of pasture-type ticks of the Ixodidae family in the vicinity of large cities, in urban biotopes and, in particular, in the territory of the West Kazakhstan region. We have recorded two species of ixodids here: Ixodes ricinus (Linnaeus, 1758) and Dermacentor reticulatus Fabricius, 1794.
