Phlugis ocraceovittata Piza, 1960

Distribution: Brazil: Mato Grosso do Sul, Paraná, São Paulo.
New record for the Paraná State.
Comments: All individuals were collected in grasses, both in the edge and inside the forest. Individuals feed both on fish food flakes and fruits, vegetables, and grass seeds when being reared.
Bioacoustics (Fig. 9E–H): The stridulation is constant, with sequences of echemes lasting longer than 10 seconds, produced in an intensity crescendo. Each echeme is composed by three diplosyllables that possess constant intensity. The calling song of this species was already described by Chamorro-Rengifo & Braun (2016).
Dominant frequency: 43.0 ± 2.7 kHz.
Bandwidth: 21.4 ± 1.8 kHz.
Duration: Syllable: 10 ± 1 ms; Echeme: 60 ± 3 ms.
Mute interval: Syllable: 10 ± 1 ms; Echeme: 90 ± 10 ms.
