Neoconocephalus exaltatus (Walker, 1869)

Distribution: Brazil: Paraná, Rio de Janeiro, Santa Catarina; Colômbia: Cundinamarca; Paraguay: Paraguari; Venezuela.

New record for the Paraná State.

Comments: The individuals of this species are large and robust, showing polymorphism in relation to the colour, which can be green or light brown. However, the contrasting black on the tibiae and tegmina is present in both morphs.

Bioacoustics: Sound not recorded.
